Q: Doesn't all this art and music history just go over the head of young children?

A: No! It comes as a surprise to some parents how easily their young children absorb the information. When I first developed an Interactive Journey through Art and Music, my daughter was only 3 years old. To my amazement, she learned to recognize paintings from different eras AND also learned the names of the artists and titles of paintings without me ever "talking down" to her. This is an exact parallel to the way that young children learn and memorize great pieces of music via the Suzuki Method. If they are exposed to great music and great art, they will internalize it and be enriched by it's beauty.

What is man's ultimate direction in life? It is to look for love, truth, virtue, and beauty.” - Shinichi Suzuki
